So this is what Obama would have schools do for parents in the area of sex education.
“It is the right thing to do.”? This is a classic example of the government usurping the rights of parents. Sex education involves morality, and anytime this is the case, it needs to be hands off. Barack Obama would have schools preempt any educational role that parents would have in teaching their kids. Most parents do not dream of talking explicitly about sex until children are older, even leaving it until puberty. The moral aspects of sexuality need to be addressed. Parents are in the best situation to assess when this is appropriate. By government undercutting parents by dictating that kindergarteners be taught about sex they violate the responsibilities that are rightfully the parents.

If it can run profitably as a business, then government has no business putting it’s hands in it. It will always run poorly and inefficiently.
